Laui Inside–Kahalu Pork with Coleslaw


6 # Pork Butt

1 1/2 T. Liquid Smoke

2 T. Sea Salt

Crock Pot

Hamburger Buns

Poke holes all around Pork Butt

Massage salt all over the roast; Place in Crock Pot

Add liquid smoke (1 1/2 T.)

Cook for 16 hrs on low or 7 on high.



1 cup guava nectar ( like using Mango Nectar too)

1 cup barbecue sauce

1 clove chopped garlic

1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

(Combine sauce ingredients cook in saucepan)

Cool pork slightly and shred… Toss with Sauce




1 package coleslaw mix

2 cups fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and chopped

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup golden raisin

2 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Mix all ingredients together and let sit in the refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving..
